Direction of Use
- Hold the EPIGLUE tissue adhesive apparatus between your thumb and forefinger and apply firm pressure on the middle of the cylindrical plastic jacket.
- The pressure crushes the glass ampule inside and releases the adhesive into the plastic jacket.
- Turn the apparatus upside-down and press to release the adhesive as micro drops on wounds with good edge approximation and little wound tension.
- Avoid getting the tip of the device in contact with the skin, tissue or open wound during the whole procedure.
- Wait for 30 to 60 seconds for the polymerization and bonding to complete.
- Supplement the closed cut with wound tapes or sutures if required.

Contra Indications
- Internal application (under tissues or skin).
- Internal organs, vascular bodies or brain tissues.
- Contaminated and infected wounds.
- Patients who have diseases or conditions that
are known to interfere in healing process. - Bites, punctures or crush wounds.
- Axillae and perineum regions (high-moisture areas)
- Areas with extreme skin tensions (elbows, knees and joints)
- Patients who are allergic or hypersensitive to tissue adhesive and products containing cyanoacrylate products and formaldehyde.
